A More Peaceful World

If only we could overcome mutual paranoia through recognition of the common threats

During World War 2, Britain and the USA were allies of Russia in face of the common threat posed by Hitler’s Fascist Germany.

Russia, China and NATO would cooperate if aliens from the planet Zog were pointing their heat rays at planet Earth.

Adversaries can be transformed into allies when confronted with a common threat., and the fact is that every nation on Earth is facing a common threat from man-made climate change (MMCC). Instead of indulging in the incredibly expensive and dangerous arms race that is taking place, every nation on Earth should be working together intensively to transform our economies away from fossil fuel dependence, increasing the climate resilience of our countries, creating full employment in service of society and environment. Full employment in a good cause would create a world that is happier in every sense.

Instead of this, the world is spending nearly $3 Tn a year on instruments of destruction that benefit the arms industry and cause grief to everyone else.

Why are we doing this? Because of a campaign of misinformation by the fossil fools, the oligarchs of oil, who are abusing their immense subsidised profits to buy politicians and pressmen to shout down the climate scientists.

We face two common threats: MMCC and Billionaires. Most people have been blinded to both. It is all very sad
