On this day 82 years ago 10,000 fit young men were wounded or killed on the beaches of Normandy to win the war against Fascism.

As yet, we are not called to die for our freedom. We are only required to speak the truth against them

The truth we need to communicate to right wing writers, media bosses and social media misinformers is that science is the best knowledge that we have, and science teaches us that best life for us to live is in harmony with the needs of nature and each other.

That simple truth is the stem of a tree that branches out into a peaceful and constructive life for everyone and everything. Misinformation leads to confusion and resentment which leads to hatred, anger, destructiveness injury and war.

Yes, it’s a pain, but nothing compared to the pain suffered by 10,000 young men on the beaches of Normandy in 1944
